Here are some things Zell (my lorikeet) loves playing that doesn't require anything.. maybe you will get some ideas?
Mimic
Zell actually taught this game to me and he loves it! It involves me first approaching him saying, 'mmmmm...' and when I touch him on the beak or head, both of us at the same time yell, 'MA!' while quickly looking in a different direction. Sometimes he joins in with the, 'mmmm' at the start.
Okay, I know that sounds weird... he started it, lol.
Also, clicking noises, kissing, etc, many parrots will find a sound that they like to copy off you. You can also try copying any noises that they are making.
Chase the Hand
Some species of parrots enjoy chasing your hand, bouncing or frantically running at it, pouncing...
To get Zell chasing my hand, it involves lots of quick, frantic movements (note: this might scare some birds). I will run my hand in circles around him, scratch my nails across the surface towards and away from him (he often mimics this), tap my hand on the surface (he copies this too by bashing his beak repeatedly on the surface), have my hand 'jumping' around him (involves in him bouncing after it, lol), etc.
Really cute to see them running and rolling around. But be careful that they don't go overboard and start biting.
Got Your Beak!
Zell loves this! Just like playing a game of, "Got your nose", with a child. 'Steal' his beak and say, "Got your beak!".
He actually says this with me when I do it, and will also grab my mouth and say, "Got your beak!".
Tell A Story
Tell your parrot a story. Parrots love to hear you talking or singing. The main character in the story should have the same name as your parrot. Also include words that you know they love (you can tell because when you say the word, their pupils start shrinking - 'pinning').
Some parrots will be so interested in the story you are telling, they will press their beak right up against your mouth, as if absorbing all the words.
If you know of any other games that don't involve any props or anything, feel free to share them.
