Well, instead of saying ALL OF THEM, here's my lory/lorikeet wishlist of the species I would love to own the most (click the name for pic): 1. Black Lory2. Ornate Lorikeet3. Red and Blue Lory4. Dusky Lory5. Pied mutation Rainbow Lorikeet6. Duyvenbode's LoryYes... I doubt I will end up with all of those. Does anyone happen to have any extra info on any of these guys? Such as personality, availability in Australia as hand reared, price, etc? While on the subject, anyone else a fan of the different lorikeet species? Which would you personally pick (not neccasarily out of my list)?

I would love to own a dusky lory. They are a brilliant little bird. Neally did own one once, not sure what happened.

What no chattering lory Clara. One way of getting a rough idea of who has what is to buy a copy of Australian Birdkeeper. In the back there's a stack of breeders that put up what they breed from around Australia. Generally if these people don't have them they'll refer you onto someone who does.

It's probably a tie between Chattering Lory and Duyvenbode's Lory... I would also like a black cap too... but then my list is getting too long. I don't know how many birds I would be able to handle. Thanks for the input everyone. Oh yes, I do have one issue of Birdkeeper and noticed that there are a few Black Lory breeders... I actually found that quite surprising.
