Quials are ground birds and they breed in hidden places. They make a nest out of thin sticks just like other birds. There eggs are green with tiny dots on them. When there babies have hatched they are smalll and fluffy and start running really fust on the ground straight away! :They are as fluffy as babie chickens. And they are so cute!

Ooh yes, if people think baby chickens are cute, wait until they see baby silver quails! They are yellow like baby chickens but so tiny, their heads are the size of your thumbnail when they are born. I've had my share of quail breeding, none of it on purpose mind. >_> I can tell plenty of stories about my quails and their offspring. I'm a quail fanatic, ok. :3 My chinese painted quail's eggs tend to look more brown when they are laid (although fresh ones are greeny brown) and turn even browner when they are a few days old. An odd one from my guys looks more green though.
