Finches!

My favourite aviary birds are the finches. They are the jewels of the birdworld - tiny bundles of feathers packed with colour and personality.

I have a long wishlist of the finches I want most... but I won't get into that. :P

Who else here are finch owners? Favourite finch species?

I have my zebras and red throated parrot finches, have also owned javas and gouldians.

I love the Gouldians and the star finches! But the Gouls are my favourite!

There all nice, but they breed like crazy. I gave my last zebra's away..Finches look great in planted avairys.

My favourite finches are star finches and my dad hade zebra finches a long time ago.

We have zebra finches, society finches, spice finches, Lady Gouldian finches, and a pair of green singing finches (my favorites). No count at the moment as several pairs of zeebs and one of societies are nesting. We've had no luck at all getting Goulds to breed, and have yet to find any certain female spice finches (both of ours are males). :-/
